Welcome

First things first: I aim to be prepared for any reader who comes to this site in crisis or concerned about a loved one in a mental health crisis, and looking for help. I will have information on suicide and suicide prevention up front. I will talk and write about suicide. I must, you must. People who are suicidal suffer tremendously: pain and despair blanket the waking hours. If family and friends are involved, they too undergo pain and despair. We must act. Lives are at stake.

If you need help for yourself or someone you love,
