Greetings from Gail Louise Auerbach, RD, MS from midwest Wisconsin !

I live with Bipolar II Disorder; there is also mental illness in my close relatives. I hold a Master of Science degree in Community Mental Health. For the past 20 years I was a mental health educator and National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Wisconsin Family Programs Coordinator.

Now – having been encouraged by several of you to pursue writing and so reach a larger audience – I’ve moved online with a personal website. With this website and blog I hope to reach other people with mental illness and those closest to them. I know and believe that what we have learned from our experiences may be helpful to others.
